Can my playstation 3 act as a wifi connection for my psp?

I want to go on the internet with my psp but i don’t have a wireless router i have a wired router.

I believe you can. The PS3 can act as an “ad-hoc” network for your PSP. However, the signal won’t be that great, and you’ll be stuck sitting near where your PS3 is. It’s actually easier to buy a wireless router, as then you can go anywhere in your house.
But if you do choose this route, you’ll have to activate the PSP through the PS3, and enable remote play. Then you’ll be able to connect wirelessly to it.
