I also installed all of the cios stuff manually, and installed preloader. By the way, I used WAD manager 1.3 to install the backup loader. If anyone sends me messages asking for help, I probably will either respond by saying “go to google”, block you, or delete the message.

I have it 2 on 4.0E it really works but I just hav 1 problem

Indeed..a lot of my friends are too afraid of “viruses” that you get from torrents, but they use limewire! They would be getting more viruses than a torrent will ever give them! They also don’t understand how much easier torrents are in the first place.
And yes, half of my real-life buddies only talk to me when they want something out of me. Usually it’s a computer question. You know what I say? Google it.

Yea the actual install took about an hr for me too. I am a System Analyst for a rather large software company that will go un-named lol. But it was the research that I spent alot of time on, since I wanted to be 100% on it. Just bugs me how people are lazy and want it handed to them, rather than figuring it out themselves. Just like my friends when I tell them not to use LimeWire, and DL off of UseNet servers instead, they are like “what is UseNet” I just tell them “google it”.

So stop asking every person who post a video on how to do this. I know that sounds rude, but damn I am sure HolyPuff did not ask anyone, and neither did I, you have to research it yourself. Google can be your best friend if you know how to use it! There are soo many tutorials out there on how to do this. And the result of my endless nights of reading guides on end, is now I can play backups on my Wii. It just bugs me when people want a free ticket, rather than doing the work themselves.

Nice vid HolyPuff. And for all those people asking how to do this and asking him for help, go to GOOGLE! Look I have modded systems in the past like the GC, PS2 and Xbox 1 with mod chips. I had NO IDEA how to soft-mod a wii, and you know what I did, I read and read and read tons of shit, on what a WAS is, your NAND, all about this, then I made the decision to do it, and figure it out as I go, and if I accidentally bricked my Wii, then oh-well, I made the choice to do it.

The homebrew channel is incredibly easy to install..it’s the rest that takes a while. It would take me a while to explain it all so..don’t get your hopes up for a descriptive tutorial, I don’t have that kind of time.

It takes a really long time…took me about an hour and a half to fully install everything. I used one guide to install the homebrew channel, and another one to install the backup loader. Basically, once you get the homebrew channel with a working WAD manager, you just need the WAD file for the backup loader and you’re set. It will install as a channel.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, google “instructables wii 4.0 backup”.
